The right applicant will have demonstrated playing proficiency in at least one musical instrument, knowledge of brands, a passion for product and desire to contribute in the music industry by sharing knowledge and experience. Performance, recording or teaching of music would be a definite advantage

Weekend work will be required as this is a retail role, with a roster of Friday to Monday

Essential Skills:

• Must be passionate about music, musical performance and / or production
• Proficiency in at least one musical instrument (Brass, Woodwind, Keys, or Percussion/Drums)
• Excellent written and oral English skills
• Able to work effectively in a high volume work environment
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Deal well with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
• Self-motivated and organised with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Must be able to work on weekends (at least one day)
• Computer literate

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate the Features, Advantages and Benefits of a wide range of products
• Proven record of sales and/or previous relevant experience related directly to the role
• Professional presentation and outlook
• Experience in POS terminals
