Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Project Lead, Procurement Digital Experience & Operations, to drive execution and continuous improvement across enterprise procurement workflows. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives focused on enhancing purchase-to-pay processes, optimizing digital tools, and improving user experience.
The ideal candidate will operate at the intersection of project execution, change management, and system innovation, ensuring seamless delivery of high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management & Operations
Drive the implementation of procurement processes, workflows, and enterprise-wide change initiatives
Develop training materials, documentation, and enablement resources to support adoption
Guide internal teams on procurement case management systems and issue resolution workflows
Support the evolution and optimization of procurement support systems
Execute internal communication strategies, including training content and enablement assets
Project Management & Execution
Lead end-to-end execution of procurement and digital experience initiatives
Define project scope, timelines, success metrics, and delivery plans in alignment with stakeholders
Identify risks, dependencies, and execution gaps, and drive mitigation strategies
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with clear prioritization based on business impact
Ensure consistent tracking, reporting, and delivery of project milestones
Systems & Continuous Improvement
Partner with engineering teams to enhance system usability and digital experience
Translate business requirements into actionable system and process improvements
Lead user acceptance testing and validation of system enhancements and AI-driven features
Drive automation-first initiatives leveraging digital tools and AI capabilities
Analyze KPIs, including resolution time, productivity, and user satisfaction, to inform improvements
Identify and implement process simplification, digitization, and automation opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build and maintain strong partnerships across procurement, operations, and engineering teams
Act as a central coordination point to ensure alignment across stakeholders
Drive prioritization and execution of enhancements that deliver measurable business value
Must-Have Skills
Strong project execution capabilities in cross-functional enterprise environments
Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery and operational ownership
Hands-on experience in change management and communications delivery
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with digital tools, systems, and automation initiatives
Ability to manage ambiguity and drive structured execution
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in procurement or purchase-to-pay (P2P) environments
Familiarity with case management or ticketing systems such as Wolken or similar platforms
Exposure to generative AI tools and chatbot systems
Experience with collaboration and workflow tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Airtable, and Miro
