Job Description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as an Employee Relations Advisor, based in the UK. You will play a key role in delivering expert employee relations support across the organisation, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant people practices while strengthening manager capability and driving continuous improvement in ER outcomes.

Contract type: 6-month fixed term contract

What you’ll do as an Employee Relations Advisor:

  • Manage complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and investigations
  • Provide expert ER and employment law advice to managers and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with UK and Irish employment law and company policies
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures
  • Work closely with line managers, HR Business Partners, and the wider People team to build capability in handling employee issues
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure a consistent and proactive approach
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies
  • Use insight from casework to proactively address recurring issues and improve ways of working

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in Employee Relations within the UK and Ireland
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law would be beneficial
  • Experience handling complex ER cases and investigations
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience supporting organisational change, including restructures
