Job Description:
- Own and govern the end-to-end release management lifecycle across multiple products and platforms.
- Define, plan, and manage the enterprise release calendar, deployment strategy, and release milestones.
- Lead coordination between engineering, QA, DevOps, security, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless releases.
- Oversee change sets and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring strong change management governance, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Chair or actively participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and release readiness reviews.
- Proactively identify release risks, dependencies, and conflicts; define mitigation and rollback strategies.
- Ensure release documentation, audit trails, and compliance requirements are met consistently.
- Communicate release plans, status, risks, and post-release outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of release processes, deployment automation, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior release managers and contribute to organizational release management standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, Program Management, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Deep understanding of change management frameworks (ITIL or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, and high-risk releases.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, including executive communication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
