We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities- Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional performance
- Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Required: Active COTA license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt effectively to new clinical environments and patient populations
