AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Restaurant Operations & Guest Experience
- Lead daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores through consistent service excellence.
- Ensure brand standards, presentation standards, and operating procedures are consistently met.
- Actively engage with guests, build relationships, and handle escalated feedback professionally.
- Drive a culture focused on guest engagement, service recovery, and memorable experiences.
Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
- Deliver revenue and profitability targets for the restaurant and bar.
- Identify opportunities to increase average spend, covers, and beverage sales.
- Drive upselling initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor labour costs, productivity, and operating expenses.
- Analyse sales trends and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Events team to maximise restaurant bookings and private dining opportunities.
Events & Activations
- Develop and execute restaurant events, themed dining experiences, seasonal promotions, and community engagement activities.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to increase venue visibility and foot traffic.
- Create unique experiences that enhance the Radisson RED brand positioning.
- Drive event attendance, guest engagement, and incremental revenue through activations.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop restaurant team members.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.
- Build succession plans and identify future talent within the team.
- Manage scheduling to ensure operational efficiency and labour optimisation.
- Lead daily briefings and maintain strong communication across departments.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage restaurant budgets and financial targets.
- Monitor stock control, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Minimise wastage and maximise profitability.
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company procedures.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, liquor licensing, health & safety, and employment legislation requirements.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Conduct regular audits and corrective action planning.
