Support Services Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic Support Services Assistant to join our housekeeping team, focused on maintaining high cleaning standards

This is a permanent role offered at 0.5 FTE or 20 hours per week to be worked 6pm-10pm Monday to Friday.

Specific duties include:

• Ensure cleaning and hygiene standards in your designated area remains consistent with hospital standards
• Assist with the collection, transfer and disposal of hospital waste following best practice standards
• Maintain adequate cleaning supplies
• Ensure patients receive fresh linen, as required
• Assist with the safe transport of patients (if applicable)

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not essential
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a professional and positive attitude
• Enthusiasm and a proactive, flexible attitude
